I decided to pursue a career change and focus on my passion for technology and cybersecurity. I have achieved the CompTIA trifecta of A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications, believing that a solid technical foundation is crucial for IT success.
Through structured learning and hands-on practice, I’ve developed proficiency with essential IT tools including Wireshark for network analysis, Active Directory for user management, Microsoft 365 administration, virtualization technologies, Python and PowerShell scripting, Linux systems, and network security tools like nmap. This self-directed study reflects my commitment to continuous learning and ability to master complex technical systems.
Currently, I apply these skills as an IT support volunteer at AbilityNet, providing technical assistance to disabled and vulnerable users. This experience has reinforced that technical expertise must be paired with excellent communication skills, patience, and reliability – qualities I’ve developed throughout my diverse professional background.
My combination of CompTIA certifications, practical support experience, and genuine enthusiasm for helping users solve technical challenges positions me well for IT support roles. I bring strong problem-solving abilities, a commitment to professional development, and a user-focused approach that ensures technology serves people effectively.
